it's a...

didn't know it was possible... but we're sure excited!
Grant, ever the intuitive child, knew from the get-go that it was a girl, and grew increasing agitated as I tried to explain that there was a great possibility that it may be another brother. As we returned from the ultrasound, he was waiting on the front porch, eagerly hoping it was "the news I want it to be!" When we told him, a smile of pure joy spread across his face. Later that night, he was kissing my belly, saying "thank you! Thank you in there!" Jack, meanwhile, continues to insist that the baby in HIS tummy is "definitely a boy."

YAHOO!! I love my little Eliza. She is a welcome break from my dorky, crazy, and sometimes agressive boys (as long as you ignore the whining). I hope your daughter will be just as great.

P.S. Andy just did his first sign-outs on night float last night and was APALLED at the level of the new interns.

Yippee! I'm so excited for you! Now hopefully we have traded vibes- you got the girl- so maybe I'll get the boy? Girl's are so fun. Just a word of advice- embrace PINK. Unless you handmake all their clothes-there is no way around it- I tried. Now we need some blue- cuz we're swimming in PINK!

no, no, no. i do NOT dislike the name "caroline." i like it a lot. if i had been a girl, and my parents didn't name me "caroline," i would change my name to that. but really, i miss you guys. nate, what's your email address? mine is tcd034@yahoo.com. let me know. i'm doing medical malpractice right now, post-op epidural hemotomas and stuff.
