it's time

I was at a Farmer's Market today and I noticed an Amish girl on break from the bread and produce stand that she and her family operates. She was sitting at a table, busily texting on her phone!

I think it's time I start learning the fine art of texting. I feel rather behind the times. My one question is:

how does she charge her phone??????

(I mean no disrespect to the Amish faith, of course. Just a little curious...)

That's pretty funny. Must be the "liberal" group. I have never texted. And for my 30th birthday, I got my first cell phone. Yes, I am behind in the cell phone/texting craze too!

I am not a texting person either. We really are not into the wii either. I hear that the Amish use Solar power at night. I'm not sure if it's true, but maybe.

That's funny. I feel exactly the same way--totally NOT fluent in text-eese.

The pictures of Caroline are beautiful (you know, good-looking parents, good-looking girl, I guess).

Hang in there Jenny, I can only imagine how hard it must be to jugggle a new baby with an absent husband (am I not looking forward to it and will be accepting all tips!)

P.S. Is Nate still interested in colorectal? Andy REALLY liked his months in the burn unit and is now considering a burn/critical care fellowship. . . .2 years arghhh!

Paul has a text pager for the hospital... so we've been texting throughout residency. I'm surprised how much I like it.

I guess the texting craze has crossed all denominational boundaries??

Please don't start texting. I feel better knowing that there are people out there besides me that don't know how! : )

I'm with Amy. Texting was the only way to contact Chris... and my 20 year old sister. Now the whole fam dam is into it! It's especially easy when you just have a question or a short statement... instead of going through a whole convo.
